Hi, I’m Lynsey Garrick – an author, mum, wife, and full-time magic-maker based in Essex.

I write heart-led children’s books inspired by real life, real love, and a touch of everyday wonder. As a disabled parent living with CRPS and Cerebral Palsy, I’m passionate about telling stories that reflect families like mine—filled with joy, challenges, and all the beautifully different ways we move through the world.

My debut picture book, Mummy’s Magic Walking Stick, launches September 1st and is a love letter to resilience, imagination, and the bond between parent and child.
